The Strangest Dream - to Put an End to War
So why is this just a dream? And a seemingly unreachable dream at that?
We are not, after all, talking about ending all CONFLICT, but ending WAR. We certainly will always have struggle between individuals and nations. If we are to call ourselves a "civilized" society, however, surely we can come up with a better means of conflict resolution than war.
Constantly placing people in a kill or be killed situation to resolve disputes has no business in a society that calls itself "civilized."
